About THE.CCART

The Cultured Contemporary Art (THE.CCART) is a contemporary art platform and creative studio working across cultural storytelling, projects, and exhibitions, with a focus on artists of African and Caribbean heritage and their global diaspora.
Founded by Kunbi Oshodi, THE.CCART emerged from a desire to create space for contemporary art to be shared and experienced in ways that feel open, culturally grounded, and not limited to insiders, moving beyond traditional boundaries of access and visibility.
THE.CCART engages with artists through a range of evolving formats and projects, creating opportunities for work, ideas, and conversations to be experienced in both digital and physical spaces. Its approach is flexible and responsive, shaped by the artists it works with and the contexts in which their work is presented.
Operating as both a platform and a creative studio, THE.CCART develops exhibitions, collaborations, and cultural projects with artists and organisations. These initiatives explore identity, culture, and contemporary expression across regions and disciplines.
THE.CCART is shaped by community and ongoing exchange. It continues to evolve through collaboration with artists, audiences, and partners, expanding how contemporary art is encountered, discussed, and shared.
