Alicia-Pearl Cato

Alicia-Pearl Cato, a Zimbabwean-born artist, employs her art to explore and celebrate her identity. Her series, 'Childhood•Upbringing•Identity•Belonging,' reflects on personal memories, inviting viewers to ponder the impact of events and the nuances of identity. Alicia-Pearl has also sought to portray her perspective on blackness by celebrating black culture and music. Her focus on black music and musicians, in particular, adds a dynamic layer to her artistic expression.
