Rizzy Akanji

Rizzy Akanji, a Black British digital artist and founder of Akanji Studio, uses artificial intelligence to raise awareness about sickle cell disorder. His work blends Afro-futurism, Afro-surrealism, and storytelling, inspired by his experiences with sickle cell disease and his Yoruba heritage. By merging technology and art, Akanji’s work explores resilience, identity, and cultural advocacy. His AI-driven creations aim to foster empathy and spark meaningful conversations about health, diversity, and inclusion, ultimately advocating for greater awareness and support for the sickle cell community.
