About the event
Through sculptures, paintings, photography, and mixed-media works, the exhibition examines how bodies, histories, and narratives resist dominant power structures. In celebration of Alicia Henry’s enduring legacy, her signature wall-based textile pieces join new and recent works by the other artists, highlighting themes of identity, kinship, and cultural memory.
