About the event

"Acts of Resistance" is a collaborative exhibition between the  South London Gallery and Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), part of the V&A Parasol Foundation Women in Photography Project, which opended on International Women’s Day 2024. 

It challenges traditional protest photography, showcasing works by international artists using the camera for activism. The exhibition explores feminism and activism with a contemporary and international lens, focusing on intersectionality, transnational solidarity, and digital tools for change.
