About the event
The exhibition spotlights intimate portraits, sculptural busts, and mixed media works that centre the Black figure and individual expression. From Botchway’s textured “Afro-Impressionist” canvases to Tawiah’s sponge-painted portraits and Borlabi’s coconut sheath surfaces, each work explores memory, identity and place. Sculptures by Allotey and new work by Boafo underscore the deeply personal and collaborative ethos behind the show. It’s in the Little Things is a tribute to artistic community, connection and the shared journey of six painters who have forged their own path.
