About the event
As part of London Gallery Weekend 2025, this exhibition marks a shift in Fadugba’s practice, from water to land, from solitary swimmers to communal choreography. Featuring gold leaf, layered textures, and a newly expanded beading practice, her works evoke the splendour and rhythm of Ojude Oba. Through collaboration with local artisans and reference to Islamic miniature painting, Fadugba’s pieces offer a sensory meditation on memory, movement, and material wisdom.
