About the event

Prompted by a personal and spiritual question "what do you see when you look at me?". Chihota presents a new series of works where the female form appears seated or standing in awkward, contemplative poses. The recurring image of the stool becomes a platform for reflection and encounter with the divine. Using screen-printing, drawing, and painterly layers, she weaves themes of faith, vulnerability, and transformation into striking visual meditations that coincide with London Gallery Weekend and Cork Street’s Fear Gives Wings to Courage.
