Oluwole Omofemi

Oluwole Omofemi, is a Nigerian artist from Edo South. His paintings incorporate Afro hairstyles, baldness, and tribal markings, capturing femininity, African identity, and heritage. Influenced by the civil rights movement and its focus on Black pride, Omofemi's work explores the history and contemporary issues of African culture. His art often features Afrocentric elements and modern aesthetics. Using a pop art palette, Omofemi's unique color theory aims to preserve and celebrate African heritage and tradition.
