Theresa Weber

Theresa Weber, a German-Jamaican-Greek artist based in London, creates multi-media installations that explore the fluid nexus of identity through cultural, historical, and mythological references. Influenced by Caribbean postcolonial theorist Édouard Glissant, Weber uses motifs from nature to examine cultural reinvention. Weber’s use of materials balances resilience and fragility, weaving intersectional storytelling. Her installations and performances challenge power hierarchies and fixed categorisations, reflecting on hybrid identities and anti-colonial perspectives.
